About PJ DeVries Construction View photo: View Staff List We have been operating as P.J. DeVries Construction since 1983 and incorporated in 2001. We have built up a reputation as an excellent quality builder who stands behind their product. Our business is mainly by referral and repeat customers with our expertise in new home construction, renovations, millwork and leasehold improvements and renovations on commercial properties. We provide a safe, clean and professional working environment. We use qualified tradesmen, apprentices and labourers for all our construction projects. We currently have 5 Journeymen carpenters with experiences in all aspects of construction from 5 to 30 years, 1st to 3rd year apprentices and experienced personnel in furniture making, tile setting and millwork. We obtained our Residential Builder Licensing in 1999 and our warranty insurance is provided by Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada. This licensing and warranty is now a requirement of all new homes built by a builder, in the Province of British Columbia. P.J. DeVries Construction is a member of the Canadian Home Builder's Association. We are proud to have been recognized in the Okanagan and Province by receiving a 1999 Silver 'Georgie Award' and a Silver 'Thompson Okanagan Housing Award' for a major renovation and a 2004 Silver 'Thompson Okanagan Housing Award' for an East Hill Custom Heritage Home.
